Provider Standards

Last updated: 2026-08-21. This is an operational draft, not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific legal advice. Licensed counsel must review it before public launch and after material product or law changes.

Providers on ErrandHelp are expected to operate professionally, safely, and transparently. These standards protect customers, providers, and the marketplace.

Baseline expectations

  • Keep profile, categories, service area, credentials, and availability accurate.
  • Accept only work you are qualified and legally allowed to perform.
  • Provide clear estimates and explain what is included or excluded.
  • Stop and re-quote when the scope materially changes.
  • Keep customer address, photos, contact details, and job context private.
  • Follow platform communication, rating, and dispute rules.

Verification

Errand may request identity verification, background-check consent, license evidence, insurance evidence, references, or work samples depending on category and jurisdiction. A visible verification badge is not a guarantee of future performance.

Suspension triggers

  • Unsafe work, fraud, harassment, discrimination, threats, or privacy misuse.
  • Fake credentials, fake ratings, or misleading profile details.
  • Repeated no-shows, unresolved disputes, or attempts to bypass platform controls.
  • Requests to perform prohibited or licensed-only work without authorization.
