Terms of Service

Errand is a software platform that helps people describe tasks, receive safety-gated guidance for low-risk DIY issues, and connect with independent providers. Errand is not an employer, home-services contractor, caregiving agency, travel agency, insurer, legal adviser, medical adviser, or emergency service.

Do not use Errand for emergencies. If there is active danger, fire, flooding, gas smell, electrical hazard, crime, medical emergency, or risk of serious harm, contact emergency services or a licensed professional immediately.

• Provide accurate information about the task, location, risks, constraints, photos, pets, access, and timing.
• Review AI-generated guidance before acting and stop if anything feels unsafe or unclear.
• Do not ask providers to perform illegal, unsafe, unlicensed, or prohibited work.
• Use exact address sharing only when you are ready to schedule or accept provider work.
• Treat providers respectfully and use the dispute process for disagreements.

• Maintain required licenses, insurance, permits, certifications, background-check eligibility, and lawful work authorization.
• Quote transparently and update the customer if scope, timing, price, or risk changes.
• Decline work outside your qualifications or legal authorization.
• Respect customer privacy, property, safety, and communication boundaries.
• Do not manipulate ratings, create fake reviews, or bypass platform safety controls.

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular home, jurisdiction, appliance, structure, or situation. Errand uses hard safety gates before DIY guidance, but you remain responsible for judgment and for contacting qualified professionals when needed.

Providers are independent third parties. Errand may help structure requests, offers, scheduling, ratings, and disputes, but provider work is performed by the provider, not by Errand.

Circles are private coordination tools, not screened emergency, medical, childcare, transportation, or professional services. Members must obtain permission before sharing another person’s information, use approximate location until a handoff is agreed, and independently assess the person, task, property, and risk.

Caregiver Support is limited to non-emergency assistance within the provider’s verified qualifications and local legal authority. It is not a medical, nursing, home-health, medication-management, emergency, guardianship, or unsupervised-childcare service. Customers must avoid posting medical records or unnecessary sensitive details, confirm credentials independently, provide lawful consent for another adult’s information, and use emergency or licensed clinical services when appropriate.

Share Travel Cost is for voluntary, platonic sharing of eligible trip expenses. It is not dating, matchmaking, escort, adult entertainment, paid companionship, employment, travel insurance, or a guarantee that another user is safe, suitable, solvent, or legally permitted to travel. Users must independently verify identity and plans, agree in writing on booking responsibility, spending caps, deposits, receipts, cancellation and refund handling, and avoid publishing exact lodging or itinerary details. Mutual interest is required before private communication opens.

Flight, lodging, and vehicle prices, rules, availability, refunds, identity requirements, and entry requirements come from third parties and can change before confirmation. A booking is not complete until the supplier confirms it. Review the supplier’s final total and terms; ErrandHelp does not guarantee admission, visas, refunds, or supplier performance.

Private Invest is optional and paper-first. Analytics, AI summaries, backtests, and mechanical signals are educational tools, not personalized investment, tax, or legal advice and not a promise of performance. Live orders require a separate brokerage connection and explicit order approval. You are responsible for suitability, losses, taxes, brokerage terms, and legal availability in your jurisdiction.

When you provide country, state, city, or device location, you authorize its use for availability, matching, fraud prevention, and jurisdiction checks as described in the Privacy Policy. Material agreements use affirmative acceptance and versioned records. AI may assist with ranking and summaries but does not replace professional judgment.

• Illegal services, dangerous work, harassment, discrimination, fraud, spam, or exploitation.
• Requests involving weapons, controlled substances, surveillance abuse, intimate services, paid companionship, or illegal transportation.
• Sharing another person’s private data without authorization.
• Circumventing payments, verification, safety gates, or dispute controls.
• Using Share Travel Cost for romance, sexual services, paid companionship, coercion, hidden fees, unlicensed transport, or evading supplier occupancy and booking rules.
• Posting medical records, diagnoses, or another care recipient’s sensitive information without a lawful need and authorization.
